Upon arrival:

• Stand in front of the building door.

• Use the ButterflyMX intercom system or text me at 415-786-6402.

• I will buzz you in.

• Proceed upstairs, turn left, then left again.

• Look for the large blue chair in the hallway.

• Restrooms are located at the end of the hall—follow the EXIT sign.

🧼 Preparing Your Hair

To achieve the best results:

• No tangles: I use fingers, not combs.

• Use your regular products, ensuring hair is untangled before entering.

• Arrive with hair dry, down, and curly.

• Wash your hair within a day prior to the appointment.

• Avoid ponytails, clips, bobby pins, oils, serums, or butters for two weeks before your appointment.

If you arrive early, consider visiting nearby cafes:

🌙 Maintaining Your Curls Overnight

To preserve your curls:

• Before sleeping, loosely tie your hair in a high ponytail using a scrunchie (known as a "pineapple").

• Consider using a buff, neck gaiter, or bonnet to maintain curl definition.

Both materials help reduce tangles and facial lines by keeping the hair's cuticle layer closed:

• Silk: Natural, breathable, hypoallergenic, and ideal for fine hair or menopausal women.

• Satin: Synthetic, more affordable, and still effective.
